Adding Measures to the Ballot

Local districts are eligible to submit measures to the Elections Department to be placed on the ballot. The most common measures are from Fire and School districts. These are usually for levies for funding but can also include any district governing changes that require voter approval.

How to Place a Measure on the Ballot

Districts MUST submit their resolution to the Mason County Elections Department by the appropriate deadline with the cover sheet. Deadlines can be found in the election calendar.

How to Submit your Resolution

Resolutions with completed cover sheets can be submitted in person or via email.
