Accessible Voting Units – AVUs
Mason County has equipment in our Vote Center that allows voters with disabilities to cast their ballot privately and independently. The Accessible Voting Unit provides audio reading of the ballot, large print/zoom features, tactile switches, and touch screen technology.
Assistance during the 18 day voting period
Mason County’s AVU, also known as Clear Access, is available to use 18 days before election day in the Vote Center during regular office hours, Monday – Friday 9am-4pm and on Election Day from 9am-8pm. You may request assistance for any reason.
An online, markable ballot is also available through the online Voter Portal.
Large Print Ballots
