Replacement Ballots

There are various reasons a voter might need to request a replacement ballot, including:

Just as there are various reasons for requesting one, there are options for obtaining a new one.

Online

Sign in to the online Voter Portal using your name and birthdate. Note your name must be exactly as it is on your voter registration, for many this is the same as what is on their driver’s license. Once in the portal, you can request a new ballot be mailed to you or you can print a replacement yourself, vote, and return. Below is a visual guide to these two options.

Online Option 1 – Request a new ballot be mailed to you

Once signed into your voter record, click the Ballot Status tab in the menu on the left.

Next, click the blue button that says Request Replacement Ballot by Mail.

That’s it. You will see a screen confirming your request, which is automatically recorded in the system. Your ballot is mailed that day or the next business day, depending on when you make the request. Any previously issued ballots are suspended when you request a replacement.

Online Option 2 – Print a replacement ballot yourself

Once signed into your voter record, click the Online Ballot tab.

Carefully read and follow the instructions to print a replacement ballot and a ballot packet. It is important that you print both.
